Saturday Mornings in Clackamas - NEW!

General Program Branch Class - Meditation for Everyone

These meditation classes provide you with tools for dealing with problems, such as stress and fear, and replacing them with positive minds, such as patience and love. Taught by Resident Teacher Heather Rocklin, each class includes a guided meditation, a short talk on how to use Buddha’s teachings to find inner peace and an opportunity to ask questions. Although each class is taught as part of a series, it is also self-contained, so newcomers are always welcome.

Happiness and suffering are states of mind. Through gaining insight into the nature of our mind, we can see clearly that if we change our mind, we can change our world.

Through a deep and continuing commitment to the program of study, meditation, discussion, and retreat, we can gain deep experience of Buddha's teachings, establish a strong meditation practice and become a qualified teacher in our own right.
